When is PIP paid if the payment day falls on a bank holiday?
If your normal payment date falls on a weekend or a bank holiday, you are usually paid on the last working day before it. That is the general rule GOV.UK publishes for benefit payments, and it applies to Personal Independence Payment. The payment is brought forward, not skipped, so the following payment stays on its usual four-week cycle. Around some bank holidays the Department for Work and Pensions also issues a dated notice confirming early payment for a list of benefits.

England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland do not share every bank holiday, so the working day before differs by nation. Check GOV.UK bank holidays for your nation, and look for a dated DWP notice close to the holiday itself.
