For the person handling it

Doing this for someone else

You are the one with the folder of letters. A partner, a parent, an adult child has been refused, and they have not got another form in them. You can hand the paperwork to us instead, and a caseworker writes the case up for them.

What this is

  • A written document service. A caseworker reads the paperwork you send and writes up the case in the language the decision was scored against.
  • You can buy it and send it in on their behalf. You do not have to be the person named on the decision.
  • We are not anyone’s legal representative, and we do not contact the DWP, a council, the NHS or a tribunal for you. The finished document is yours to send.
  • Nothing here is medical, legal or benefits advice, and we do not say what any decision maker will do with it.

What you send us

  • A photograph or a PDF of the decision letter, or the mandatory reconsideration notice, whichever stage they are at.
  • The assessment report or care paperwork, if you have it.
  • Nothing retyped. The caseworker reads what you send, so neither of you has to write the story out again.
  • A few short questions follow, and they are optional once the documents are in.

What happens in the first 24 hours

  • You get an email now, confirming your order.
  • A caseworker is assigned to your case within 24 hours of your order.
  • A person contacts you directly.
  • 180 days, any reason, refunded on request.

Which stage are they at?

Their PIP was refused, or awarded lower than expected

You send us the decision letter and anything else you have. A caseworker reads it and writes the Mandatory Reconsideration up point by point, in the descriptor language the decision was scored against. The finished document is theirs to read, sign and send.

The mandatory reconsideration has already been refused

The next stage is an appeal to the tribunal. You send us the reconsideration notice and the papers you have. A caseworker reads them and writes up the submission and the evidence list. You and they still send it, and they still speak for themselves at any hearing.

A care home or continuing healthcare decision has gone against them

You send us the paperwork and describe a typical day as you see it. A caseworker reads it and writes up a family evidence pack across the twelve care domains, sourced to the national framework, ready for you to submit on their behalf.
