Refund policy

One promise, for every document we sell, with no conditions attached.

Plain-English summary. Reviewed against UK GDPR, Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the E-Commerce Regulations 2002, but this is not a substitute for advice from a solicitor. Last updated 8 June 2026.

The promise

180 days. For any reason or for no reason at all. Email us and we refund you.

That is the whole policy. You do not have to prove anything, you do not have to explain yourself, and you do not have to have sent the document anywhere. It applies to every product we sell, at every price, in every UK nation.

If a document simply isn't right, you can also ask us to redraft it, free, as often as it takes. A redraft is an option we offer, never a step you must go through before a refund.

The window

180 days from the date of purchase. That limit exists for one practical reason: beyond roughly 180 days a card refund is no longer possible and the money has to move by bank transfer. If you are outside the window, email us anyway and we will do what we can.

How to ask

Email hi@finallyseen.org.uk from, or quoting, the email address on your order. You do not need to give a reason. We aim to respond within 3 working days, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days.

Your 14-day right to cancel, and why this promise is wider

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content bought online. Because our documents are prepared specifically for you and delivered straight away after payment, regulation 37 of those Regulations applies: by tapping Pay at checkout, with the on-screen notice that we will generate and email your document immediately, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cancellation right falls away once performance has begun.

Our own promise above is deliberately wider than the statutory position, and we honour it regardless. Nothing on this page affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your right to chargeback through your bank or card provider.

What we do not promise

A refund is a promise about our fee. It is not a promise about any outcome. We do not promise that a GP practice will reply or refer, that a commissioner or ombudsman will act, or that the DWP will make any particular award. We are not affiliated with the NHS, the DWP, HMCTS or any local authority, and this is not medical, legal or benefits advice.
