All accredited endometriosis centres
Sheffield Endometriosis Centre
Sheffield Endometriosis Centre appeared on the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy list as a accredited centre when we read that list on 4 August 2026. Accreditation records that a centre meets the society's published requirements, including the team roles below. It is not a waiting time and it is not a quality ranking, and nothing on this page says this centre is better or quicker than any other.

How a referral to a named centre works
Country of this centre: England
Under NHS patient choice rules in England you may ask your GP practice to refer you to a named NHS provider for a first outpatient appointment, and if you have waited more than 18 weeks without treatment starting you may request an alternative provider. The request is yours to make, by asking your GP practice or by notifying your commissioner. Whether a centre accepts a referral from outside its usual area is a matter for the centre and the commissioner, and this page cannot tell you what either will decide.

How to read this list
Accreditation is a British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy process against its own published requirements. It records that a centre meets those requirements, including the multidisciplinary team roles listed on each entry. It is not a quality score, it is not a waiting-time measure, and it is not ours to award or withhold.
We take no money from any accredited centre, any NHS trust and any private clinic. No centre can pay to appear here, to be described differently, or to be left out. We do not rank centres and we do not say any centre is better or quicker than another. How this is funded.
